It’s been a busy week for New Jersey, with the Devils’ game against the San Jose Sharks set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
EST (7:30 a.m., PST).
So how can you get a feel for when your favorite team’s home opener will be happening?
Recode’s Sam Roberts answers some of the questions we’ve been hearing about when games are happening, including when they might be played in New Jersey.
Read more about New Jersey’s games on the calendar and where to find them on your phone.
When do you know it’s coming?
It’s a good idea to know when you’re about to see the game on your phones because you’ll get the best view of the game, as well as get an idea of when you can get there, Roberts said.
He said it’s worth making sure you get your phones out in advance so you can be ready for the game.

How long does it take for the games to be announced?
The games are usually announced the night before the start of the regular season, Roberts explained.
They usually start at 7 p.t.

Roberts said he wasn’t sure if the games were going to be televised because of the uncertainty surrounding the NHL’s lockout.
If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on an official game announcement, you should expect to hear the game’s announcement around 6:30 or 7 p, Roberts added.
New Jersey has had two playoff games on NBCSN since the lockout.
The games have been broadcast by Comcast SportsNet New York since the beginning of this season.
